The Serenity Program

Build your own personal ‘Toolkit’ of Serenity Strategies. Share inspiration from the different seasons in the French Countryside at Champ de la Grange Lane.

It is a collection of 5 online workshops designed to help you create your personal ‘Toolkit’ of Serenity Strategies – practical tools to create a more mindful, slower-paced life.

Each course is standalone, giving you the flexibility to join those that best suit your journey to a more serene everyday life. You can attend one or all of the workshops.

Join Ruth on a workshop designed to refresh your thinking and facilitate mindful, more intentional living. It will be informal in style and nobody needs to leave their comfort zone. You can say as much or as little as you choose.

Each workshop focuses on a different theme. One workshop explores the 14 strategies which we can integrate into our life to make us feel happier. Another is about restorating resilience and bouncing back at times ‘when the going gets tough.’ They compliment each other, but stand alone too.

All the workshops include practical strategies (tools) which you can add to your personal ‘Toolkit’ of Serenity Strategies. This is about exploring what works for you in your life.

  • Informative, practical, and relaxed sessions that encourage reflection and solutions
  • Personal Serenity Toolkit: Add new strategies and ideas to support your wellbeing
  • e-Workbook: A personal reflective journal to guide you during the course
  • Course PDF: A helpful memory jogger for future reference
  • Small group conversations: Opportunities to connect and share insights with others

Please note: These courses are strategy-based and intended for self-development and life reflection. They are not a treatment program.

  • How to … Create your Living Mindful Toolkit
  • How to bounce back … Re-discover Serenity when Life gets Tough

Each online session is around 90 minutes. It’s live not recorded, and led by Ruth. There is a e-workbook to jot down ideas during the sessions and simple take-home practice activities.

Each workshop has 6 sessions scheduled over a 2 month period.

Occasionally a workshop is held on a single day, but different timezones make that tricky to schedule.

This Workshop helps you transform everyday stress into moments of calm and clarity. You’ll learn practical, multi-sensory techniques inspired by nature, mindfulness, positive psychology, expressive journaling, and ACT tools to help you build a calm foundation for everyday life.

This is the first Workshop to be offered and will run in July and August 2025. Register now if you are interested in attending. Not everyone goes away over the summer, and lots of activities close down, so this course is for those at home who wish to connect with others during the summer months.
