Meet every 6 – 8 weeks for an hour online, on Zoom for a garden gate get-together.
Led by Ruth, with the session designed so you have the opportunity to meet others.
Share seasonal notes, swap tips, or simply pause to reflect at the Garden Gate rendez-vous.
Garden Gate Gatherings is hosted on Substack where there are occasional posts about potager, pantry and thrifty ideas. This is a community and the intention is for the Chat on Substack to be a place people can comment and share thoughts and ideas.
There is no cost to this Substack – no tiers or invitations to Subscribe.
As more people join the community there will be more happening, and more comments in the chat. It is early days for this new initiaitve.
You can make a donation to appreciate the time planning and hosting the events if you choose to, but Garden Gate Gatherings are free, no cost events.
The Garden Gate evolving community is informal, supportive, and tied together by a shared love of the countryside, herbs, and slow seasonal rhythms.
Meeting times will be set up based on the time zones of those attending. If numbers permit and time zones are incompatible then two gatherings may be offered. The provisional time is 18:00 hrs Paris, 12:00 hrsNoon (Eastern Time EST), 9:00 (Pacific PDT), 17:00 hrs London
Southern Hemisphere: I am always acutely aware I garden in the Northern hemisphere, but have viewers and readers in Southern hemisphere. Let me know – an meeting for your time zone can be set up if enough viewers/readers are involved.
