During the Covi-19 ‘Confinement’ in Spring 2020 we had the idea of making a small terrace at the side of the house where it is shadiest in the summer. This now gives a place to sit with a view out over the fields towards the gentle hills in the distance. It’s our ‘Fieldside’ Terrace and we rather like it. Take the pocket, portable wifi and sit and work there on a hot day.
